Off Topic Non-Sunderland games

Tough one really. Ballard hasn’t been a nailed starter here this season and he’ll obviously want a move to the PL but being a defender for Sheff Utd in the PL next season if they go up would not be an enjoyable experience

I like him but he’s obviously got his injury issues and I can’t help but think if we can sell him and sign Mepham for less then we’re in a much better position - and Mepham is only 2 years older. Realistically he could already be better than Ballard ever will be.

We’ve got two exciting players like Isador and Mayenda, both have that football x-factor for me as well. So much potential.

 

Talks of £15m too, he’s at peak age to sell or close to it, given his injury record I think it’s an offer we’d seriously consider

That's a terrible call for a second yellow and a red. Literally did nothing

 

I thought it was at full speed though. And with noVAR for a yellow, nothing they can do. If he made contact, then it’s a yellow definitely. I can’t see anything that says he did or didn’t!

 

That's the issue. The rule of var. It's a massive moment. Why var should be involved.
