Slow, predictable passing instead of attacking them after we’d taken the lead.

Aye, no matter how much people try and defend Roberts because he can dribble the fact of the matter is his returns are embarrassing and he plays in a front 3. You need all 3 firing.

and we have a habit of gifting goals, yes for watfords second he could have been closed down more but its a great strike, the pen however is 100% avoidable.

Boros second last week, avoidable, Luke shouldnt be playing that pass, Jobe shouldnt be trying to roll his man when the pass wasnt side on, guy nicks it, shoots and scores.

    We have form for this.

All three of our goals, at Boro, were avoidable ...

... we robbed the ball off them each time.

We play that ball every game, it's how we play.

What would you rather we did?

    its square pegs round holes.

Dan neil has made the 4 position his own and we move him to accomodate Samed, just dont think thats right.

im not slating him either, hes clearly on the eye test good at what he does, but neil and him do not compliment each other at all and id go as far to say if neil isnt in that 4 role he handicaps us and hes not a 6/8.

I agree. You won’t find anyone on here who banged the drum for Ba to play more over Roberts than me mate :emoticon-0102-bigsm frustrating as hell because I’m sure there’s a lot of talent there but just doesn’t seem to apply himself at times - then again if I was playing decent for a few games then got dropped to make way for someone back from injury who was offering nout I’d probably not apply myself.

Aye I agree. The two of them don’t work in the same midfield it’s not a dig at either just don’t think they’re compatible. Neil isn’t good going forward he never has been, he has to play the DM role now.

the second goal which i highlighted is a goal for boro from a mistake

the pass from onien is square on to jobe, its not down the outside channel for the easy turn.

jobe still tries to roll his man when its clear he should shield or better just knock it back

if you cant see we have form for gifting goals, see the pen at the weekend i dont know what to say

theres nothing wrong with how we playh, its positional and disciplined but to be that disciplined and organised and to completely shut watford out, only to give them a pen in that manner, beyond poor.

All goals are from mistakes, that's what I'm saying.

The second goal at Boro was a split second mistake, I'm not saying it wasn't ... mistakes happen.

Before the Plymouth game we had three, on the bounce, when we didn't concede a single goal ...

... what happened to our 'form' then?
