*Chelsea reserves the mighty Wimbledon at home (who you were meant to be playing away) scraped past Forest on penalties.
Swansea are doing the only thing they can and dropping back. If the opposition is throwing men forward, as they have to do, there's little alternative. When people say a team is 'falling back and inviting the opposition to attack' it's back to front. The defending team has no option but to drop back and cover the extra attackers. The more thrown forward the more you have to retreat. Glad you took my bait
I thought it was much better like that. Referees are too scared to punish time wasting, feels like you watch 55-60 minutes of football and half an hour of the time wasting
Watching the Plymouth game and noticed there are a couple of areas where they have a double width staircases. Now although I stay until the end I moan like fk when it is sometimes 10 or 15 minutes prior to getting down the stairs and out of the ground. My next thought on this is would it be worthwhile removing a few seats to accomodate this? My reasoning would people stay until the end knowing the exit was a lot easier.
Think you’ll always have early leavers because of the traffic/travel to be honest, I can’t imagine many leave early because they don’t want to queue on the stairs although getting out the stadium quicker would be ideal! My mate rang me during the week walking out of SJP when they were 2-0 up against Arsenal with 10 left and I laughed and said you’re joking aren’t ya!? And he said loads were. All clubs do it to be fair
Lets hope Plymouth hold on and make Liverpool evermore determined to not lose to some small time bastards in the cup ever again
