He's one of the best right backs in the world and when fit, England's best in my opinion. He's in there on merit.
Absolutely fantastic result. Going down to 10 men and still winning away to the reigning champions and our hardest group game.
Haway man, remember when a draw in Italy was one of England's most impressive results? Now we've gone over there and won and we complain about it not being a perfect performance. For all we weren't great second half, Italy didn't really have any great chances to get a result. We were resolute.
I'm more thinking of the talent we have compared to them now. We should have destroyed them tonight and made a statement for when we qualify for the tournament. If we routed them 5 nowt, the likes of France and Germany would have been worried. Now they can see we are still vulnerable.
I get what you're saying. If we played 2nd half the same as first half...and Grealish should have made it 3 anyway! But in the past we might have folded but tonight we got it over the line.
Aye but Grealish didn't didn't score and we didn't play the second half the same as the first. Hence why we win **** all. Glad we hung on and won tonight so we can enjoy a QF shootout loss to Spain in the proper tournament though.
I'm genuinely not a negative person, my glass is half full (literally ) but we need to be ruthless and send out a message in all the games we play if we are going to win a tournament.
On the contrary you're probably the most positive person on here Wouldn't be surprised if you were distantly related to Luke O'Nien.
