The looks on the faces of the players is priceless. Out of context, that looks horrific.

Wow! That Sporting goal is incredible. Shades of Beckham v Wimbledon. Superb.

They're big fans of a flip chart in India.

11 wins on the bounce to take his team to the finals. Saw a twitter video the other day of thousands of Indian lads singing his name <laugh>

Remember that like it was yesterday. Neil Sullivan in goal for Wimbledon, lovely sunny day and the rest is history with Beckham. First day of the season iirc.

This Sporting team is really talented.

Goncalves is a sure thing for a top Premier League team next year.

Marcus Edwards has West Ham written all over him (if they stay up).

Ugarte and Inacio will be targets for Brighton, Newcastle, Villa, Wolves.

Then there's that monster at the back, Diomande. He's big, strong, quick and only 19. Sporting have only just signed him in Jan though so he might be there a little longer.

Oh, and their manager too is due a big job. Very impressive.

Is that the lad who the commentator was quoting his Fifa stats from the computer game? I was going to post about it but thought he was taking the piss. He was on about a 93 pace rating and a 96 acceleration stat and some other nonsense. The lass on Co comms had a bit of a pop at him. <laugh>

No idea mate, I missed that. It's like when sky sports news starting using football manager stats during transfer windows. Awful stuff.

Random thought, but if the keeper turned around, ran back to his line and then tried to save it, would he have done better than backtracking at half pace and not being able to get there?

It would be completely unorthodox to turn your back to the ball, but it might have been quicker.

It was one of Sportings defenders who carried the ball out from halfway (looked class btw) but he put the shot over and the bloke reeled off all these fifa game stats, the lass on Co comms was taking the piss.

Sky sports is minging these days, they just get daft youtubers and bloggers on and think we all give a **** about their opinions. Most of the ex pros on there are woeful (Stephen Warnock anyone? <laugh>) so I don't know why they think I'm going to listen to the opinion of some clown with a camcorder.

    Lightning striking twice for Arsenal.

Nayim from the halfway line, as my Spurs mate used to sing.

Mohamed Alí Amar (born 5 November 1966), known as Nayim, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a central midfielder.

    Real Zaragoza

In May 1993, Nayim signed for Real Zaragoza for £500,000. His most notable moment in football came in the final seconds of extra time in the 1995 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final by lobbing David Seaman from 45 yards to score a last-minute goal and win it 2–1 against Arsenal;[1] nearly two decades later, he told UEFA's website that the strike was premeditated as his experience in England had taught him that the Gunners played a high defensive line.[7]
