I just don't think their squad is actually that good, they were punching above their weight when finishing in the playoffs and I don't think they've recruited well last 2 seasons Def should be top half tho, but I think the change of mindset has impacted them now that they were a PL team last season Cracking finish for them in this game tho
yeh agreed. Also just mathematically any game that isn’t a Sunderland game, being a draw is a good thing. Only two points awarded rather than three.
This commentary about how Luton just do this at kenilworth Road when they’re 8th in the home league table is a bit much
Admittedly, I didn't see a great deal of the Luton match, but from what little I saw, if they were in the Crystal Maze they would be permanently in the 'Industrial Zone'. Definitely not ready for the Futuristic Zone.
They're totally L1 and that's being kind ... ... it's quite depressing tbh. I'm worried that Sunderland are way too good a footballing side for the Championship ... ... but not tough enough for the PL. That was a dreadful game of football but the locals seem to love it.
I didn't watch it for any length of time tbh but the bits I did watch, I saw Luton kicking lumps out of them. Heard the crowd shouting 'fack off you caant' as well because I've got my headphones on listening to the darts But same volume for the footy when I switched it over.
Chong would be a great shout as a potential upgrade on Roberts. I don't know how much he's valued at but they aren't exactly in a strong bargaining position. He can't be that happy being stuck at Luton, nobody would be but especially not a player like him.
