ha you’re right of course but I think there is a point that they DID play a lot better than they have against us and I do think they were unlucky to not get a point. Not saying we were lucky as we absolutely deserved the win, but that doesn’t mean they deserved to lose. been really disappointed with them tonight, their intensity is nowhere near what it was against us
It highlights how exciting the football we play is as well. Obviously biased but I'd rather watch us try and play quick attacking football than this
On the constant praising of Luton for how they played against us, i'm taking it as a compliment now. How you perform against the league leaders is always the biggest signal for your teams level, I remember how we got a load of praise last season when we went to Leicester and put in a really good performance and were 'unlucky' to not get anything. We are the team to beat, good opposition performances aren't enough to beat us anymore.
yes this. I’m also taking it as a compliment that commentators are treating teams playing us as the underdogs. We will have to get used to that. We’ve spent two years pretty much being seen as the plucky young side and now we’re being commentated on as the league leaders
Their crowd are flat as ****, I can only hear the WBA lot tbh. They should be using this 'tight ground' advantage we keep hearing about. They had a lot of shots against us but I think it was only 2 or 3 out of about 20 on target. I'm becoming a lot more comfortable with the way RLB sets us up in games. Early in the season I was shouting for us to 'get out' but the fella knows what he's doing and conceding possession has worked for us so far and long may it continue
