Off Topic Non-Sunderland games

I thought they were good last night but a bit too early to say they’ll take some stopping. The championship is a really tough league, let’s see how they’re doing after 10 games. Luton (H) next weekend…

 

They looked good mate. I thought Huddersfield played a part in that though. I would like to see what Burnley are like when a time presses them high up the pitch. Their keeper was playing very high and I think teams will look at that and try to push them back. Decent watch though.

4-0 up inside 20 minutes. Impressive

What do you think they've been doing on there? I can't figure it out. It's not patchy and worn it's just bizarre.

Could have left it at that, most predictable league in the world.

Yeah they still allow them. The rest of Scotland hates playing there.

The lines on the pitch today have been put on 4cm too thick. They'll likely get a fine for that.

 

It is a shocker. Old 3g with rubber crumb by the looks of it. I have been on one of those this morning and they arent fit for a professional game.

 

It looks like a pitch with black rubber crumb on it. Old style 3g pitch. Tons if tiny rubber bits go on and then they brush it once a week. The crumb just bunches together and you get darker sections and lighter sections. You can even see where tractor tyres finished. I coach on ome 3 times a week and always empty the rubber out of my shoes before I get in the car.

 

Yeah I remember all the rubber getting in your shoes, I reckon if I dug my trainers out of the wardrobe there'd be at least one crumb in them. Crap quality for this level.

The tractor tracks were particularly baffling to me so thanks for clearing that up.
