Off Topic Non-Sunderland games

Burnley by far the better team,mainly because huddersfield are so poor. If these two are two of the better teams in the championship i have no fear of us being in trouble this season.Only 45 mins gone could change second half.

I agree mate, but want to see them against a side that presses them all over. They have a look of a side that might not like the high tempo game against them. But decent 45 for sure, with the exception of Barnes who looks slow to me.

 

I feel that Huddersfield might struggle this season once Lewis O'Brien was sold, he was up there with the best players in the league last season - he carried them in so many games last season

 

Huddersfield aren't hunting in packs. Only one or maybe two pressing, need to do it in 3s and 4s

 

I agree. I think Sunday will be fine, but we need to be supportive of this team for the whole season, no matter what.

I know quite a lot of us are getting excited and dreaming of the playoffs, but if this season turns out to be a damp squib with a 17th place finish, it'll still be a year that about 10 players in our squad get key experience that will help them and us in the future. Criticising young lads doing their best does nothing but damage confidence. It doesn't help us in anyway.

We need to go against the grain of modern football fans and back our club 100% during matches, despite mistakes and poor performances. We need to embrace our long term future and be patient on the journey.

Anywhere from 17th to 12th will do me nicely. On the beach with 5 games to spare would be delightful

I had a look at their squad and they have 3 or 4 City youngsters, oh and they've got Scott Twine on the bench. I'll be surprised if they are not in the top 6 come the end of the season.

Nice to see the refs are cracking down on time wasting this season. It gives the better team a bigger chance of getting a result.

 

Booked the keeper tho when it could easily have been the outfield player maybe...
