I would so laugh if the owner decided to go for Redknapp because he has heard of him. Couldn't see Harry turning down the chance to make bucket loads of money at their expense.
Confused? You will be when you read this thread on how the FA are treating clubs with no income and the promises that were broken. A bigger bunch of c*nts would be hard to find...
Return of Redknapp! Am I right in recalling that when with us, Harry commented that he "couldn't understand the role of a Director of Football or Technical Director?". https://the72.co.uk/220742/redknapp...w-derby-county-example-with-next-appointment/
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55997868 League One and League Two wage caps plans withdrawn. With a QPR hat on this is frustrating as it presumably means the proposed Championship wage cap has disappeared too. I was looking forward to that as we've already done the work to get near/under that proposed £18m cap and it might have actually put us in a really good position for a few seasons with others scrabbling to reduce wages, and us able to make up some ground. Without a QPR hat on, I do sympathise with the players. It's a short career and they aren't earning millions at the L1 / L2 level. The proposed cap for L2 was £1.5m per year for the whole squad, which averages at 60k per year per squad player. And that's before agent fees etc, which all have to come within that cap. 60k is obviously a comfortable income for the short period they earn it, but lots of these players left formal education early, and don't have lots to fall back on when they retire. L1 cap was £2.5m. Plus, I doubt the clubs were planning on passing any savings on to the fans...
Where does 60 thousand pounds stand against the average wage So what if it's a short career Get a job like the rest of us Kick a bag of air around for 90 minutes a time maybe twice a week and a few hours training My heart bleeds
Handball rule changed as football's law makers Ifab confirms new accidental ruling please log in to view this image Handball laws were tightened at the start of the 2020-21 season Accidental handball that leads to a goal-scoring chance or a goal for a team-mate will no longer be penalised, say football's law makers. Ifab confirmed the change on Friday, saying it was because of the "interpretation of handball incidents" not being applied consistently. Ifab is also looking a possible change to the law regarding offsides. Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has proposed that a player should be considered onside if any part of their body that can legally score a goal is level with the second-last defender. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56291850
When you read some of the comments from their fans they actually believe it's not that bad..... For every £100 income they've paid £149 in wages.......total losses now at £187 million.......yet we're the only one's clobbered for breaching FFP and still paying a financial penalty....
Hey but it is time of Covid...they will be let off. ( The rest of us knew this was coming with the size of their squad)
Although presumably these accounts cover the period prior to lockdown, so no way should they be allowed to get away with it. Probably still will, mind.
Any danger of a FFP penalty. No silly me - only applies to teams in London that wear hoops. It's in the small print you know.. Who would have guessed that Michel Platini had even heard of QPR when hatched his dastardly scheme.
Sheffield United sack Chris Wilder, after all he did taking them from the bottom of League One to 9th in the Premier League last season he's suddenly become a useless manager despite Prince Abdullah refusing to strengthen the squad...
Stupid decision.....exactly the sort of manager they'll need for next season...... He did let rip at the weekend about players he needed out of the club so maybe that didn't go down too well.... They could easily do a Sunderland.....
This guy clearly has no clue. The EFL his a very firm hand on any clubs overspending - as they have rules in place called FFP and won’t let anyone slip through the net on this. ... as long as the club is based in W12 within the London area that is. What a joke!
so much for the promotions and increase incoem that Chris Wilder generated for Sheff Utd. Doubtful this is what the fans wanted and if they do go down, anyone that knows football will know that they would be challenging for promtion the next season. bad move
Absolutely, Norwich showed faith in Farke and are running away with it again. Wilde is actually a Blades fan which is a double blow for him...
