You most certainly do. Please explain to me how Darwin's theory and explanation of evolution addresses the issue of morality?
OK. This is what I posted. WHERE DO I MENTION MORALITY????????????????????? Just because YOU think it is natural does not necessarily mean it's right. I'm not preaching at all. Was Darwin wrong?
And in those posts did I mention Darwin. NO I DIDN'T!!! So YOU tell me where I have linked morality with evolution, or be a man and apologise!
Calm down man. I suggest you made the link between homosexuality, perversion, immorality, evolution and Darwin, as your posts progressed.
What a cop out. I can no longer be bothered to debate the issue with someone who cannot take on board what I am saying and worse, making ill conceived presumptions where there is no evidence. If there is anyone else who can have an adult conversation out there, please make themselves known.
Small world Beth I had a house on the pebworth so John Lyon was my local. It's had many name changes since - it got taken over and renamed grill bar and Brandon block used to often pass by for a pint in his Ferrari ! It's now an Indian bar / restaurant We used to like black horse as well log fires etc, autumn loved lobbing conkers at my mates that were worse for wear Was you a oflahertys regular as well?
For what it's worth I don't believe it possible to argue successfully, supposing Darwin's theory to be correct, that evolution would eradicate homosexuality. If this was the case, then surely there would be fewer gay people around today? I'm not sure that this is so. Is there such a thing as the gay gene? If there is, then it must be beyond argument that this gene is carried as much by heterosexual people as by homosexual people, and that both camps (no pun intended) can pass this on to subsequent generations. (Yes, some gay people have children too.) Evolution has not, it would appear, done away with homosexuality.
Moved from Wembley to Oxford in 1987, so only just overlapped with Brandon Block if at all. Spent more time at the Joe Lyon before I got married (1981)..my bloke and I met his two friends there EVERY Tuesday night....lwhen we got married we moved to Preston Road (local Preston, Century and the Winderemere)...bit father to walk. I expect we are too different in age to have met up
Until 1957, Homosexuality was illegal and, as you say, many gay men and women married and had children. So in order to test your theory that evolution has not done away with homosexuality, wouldn't you have to wait another thousand years to find out? And the increase in children being created in test tubes might scupper this anyway. Just a thought...
