    Ronald Koeman to be Saints new manager now that his his tranfer budget has been agreed.

    Slumberland are poised to make an improved offer to Swansea for Ashley Williams. £6m has been reported.
    However, the players agent has been quoted as saying that the player himself wants to stay @ Swansea now.

    Burnley to offer Derby £2.5m for Richard Keogh and Craig Bryson.

    Barcelona have offered Alex Song to Manchester Utd as they look to hijack Saints Dejan Lovrens move to Liverpool.

    Tony Adams (ex.Arsenal legend) has again been quoted as saying that Roy Hodgson has made a massive mistake with the England defence. Saying, It is not good enough for a World Cup.

    Odd move that for Man U.

    Also, don't know what Song does to be held in such high regard. Didn't rate him at Arsenal and barely featured for Barcelona

    I thought both Song and Vermaelen were excellent the season Song left. Song was the main creator for Van Persie and Vermaelen also helped create chances from the back.

    Vermaelen is a good signing for Man Utd, it certainly improves their defence no end with Vidic and Rio gone.
