Claudio Beauvue. Never heard of him! http://www.insidefutbol.com/2014/05...set-sights-on-forward-claudio-beauvue/142933/
Another AM been linked to us, this time from Guingamp in Ligue 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudio_Beauvue Source here: http://www.insidefutbol.com/2014/05...et-sights-on-forward-claudio-beauvue/142933/? I don't really know much about him, but it sounds like he's had a pretty impressive season in the French top flight. And, he's a full international* so think of all the experience he brings from playing for his country. *International football for Guadeloupe that is.
Rickie Lambert is on his way to Liverpool. Edit - It seems the fee is £4m, it seems very low for the amount of goals he scores.
You just had to look and see eh ? Serves you right. Lets hope that Evans can now buy some bracies for his pants. He has a new 3 year contract so wonga wont be an issue. Correct. Laying on his sunbed next to the pool with a few beers in the cooler and his mobile/s pinned to his ears. Multi-tasking at its best. £4m down with the rest as add ons has been reported (for apps - goals and trophies etc). Looks like Jack Colback could be on his way to us then maybe ? Gomez to replace Colback and / or Larsson. Which will more than likely be the £9m which is what Lambert is worth.
Been reported today that Rodgers has been bigging up Lambert prior to Saints 1-0 win @ Anfield back in sept. Plus Lambert comes from Kirkby and was actually released by the Reds as a 15 year old. So via a beetroot factory - Bristol Rovers - Southampton,,, Lambert has gone full circle and will soon be a Liverpool and England striker. Not many teams will want to face Liverpool in a penalty shoot out next season either. Dont be surprised to see Lovren and Lallana join him @ Liverpool either. Just that 25% due to Bournmouth being the tricky things on the Lallana deal. More bad news for the Saints. Midfielder Victor Wanyama wants a move to Spurs now to follow the manager. With Shaw and Schneiderlin also looking like they will go and with Rodriquez not being ready to play until Sept/Oct the Saints will be much changed.
Not really they are not. Newcastle are out of it already. Villa dont have any money to spend on new players. They need a new owner first. I would not expect West Ham to get him regardless. It may come down to SB and ROI lads if it happens though.
Will Saints even have enough players to field a team for the opening game? All of their best players are rumoured to leave.
They should be able to name a starting 11 but the subs bench maybe a little young in both numbers and age ?
If all those players leave Southampton they'll have enough cash to buy 2 new teams. They'll be drastically changed but they'll certainly have a team. The quality of which will be dependant on the manager they replace pocho with, and his vision. It will be a good job for any manager as they're sure to have a giant war chest and the chance to build their own team almost from scratch rather than inherit and tweak.
But will they spend all the cash on the team ? OR Is owner Katherina Liebherr in it for the long haul or just wanting to sell all the top talent - pay off all debts and then sell up what is left ? Many questions still remain unanswered.
Wow. Nobody saw that coming. Not that it has made any difference to Athletico Madrid's Juanfran who has rejected the chance to talk with Arsenal.
I hope Leicester buy Cardozo from Benfica. He's passed it and would take a big chunk of their budget.
