My daughters fella played against him in the cup this season, said he was really quick, but bloody useless with the ball at his feet. He said he wouldn't get into his team, never mind City's.
That was when he was at Leeds, he then moved to Atletico Madrid, where if I remember something bad happened and he didn't play for ages, his career stalled, got stuck in reverse on a bloody big hill and the brake lines snapped. When we signed him Brucey said somewhere that it was purely just to have a quick look at him. On the new names, has Bendtner been mentioned by RB? Had talksport on briefly earlier in the bat mobile and they were banging on about him and saying we'd been showing an interest.
Kebbie had a really nasty injury for them and he never really recovered. As for Bendtner, we've certainly showed interest and I think his free agent status has piqued that interest even more. He could be quite a handy player, but I doubt he'd settle for being on the bench.
The duo Radio Humberside mentioned we have interest in this morning were: Ryan Bertrand and Morgan Amalifitano. Didn't see it posted anywhere.
Danny Rose could well be one of the 2 loans for us next season by all accounts. Not far off on the rest either. With the like of Joe Dudgeon - Conor Townsend and now Max Clark we have enough left backs on our books. Correct. Whatever our players earn wont be known by many either. We can all guess and some of us would be aboiut correct but does it matter. In the PL you get what you pay for most of the time. Jahraldo-Martin - Clark - Clappison and Ben Topliss should all be pushing for the first team squad imho. Hopefully our 2 domestic cup draws in the early rounds will allow SB to give them a go.
According to SSN, Swansea City is pleased to announce the signing of Lukasz Fabianski. I think they mean they ARE pleased to announce it. Anyway, he'll be good competition to Vorm.
Rodgers says he wants to have serious competition for Mignolet. Plus dont forget Liverpool now in the CL so have more games.
It's always nice when I wouldn't object to all the players we're being linked with. And all in the right areas! I think next year we might not have to worry about 2nd season syndrome Touch wood
If I had to choose Steve Bruce's biggest strength, it would definitely be his recruitment. He knows what areas need strengthening and has proper targets with genuine quality to fill those spaces. Compare that to Phil Browns premiership team building.
Sagna has now confirmed he's left Arsenal and will almost certainly join Man City. There's no way he's worth £120k a week, I thought he was Arsenal worst player.
