    Stoke City confirm the 2nd signing of the day. Feyenoord defender Kevin Gomez(19) after they landed Werder Bremen striker and bad boy Marko Arnautovic.

    After Victor Moses to Liverpool on loan for the season, Liverpool are close to closing in on the deals for Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori.

    WBA confirm the signing of Morgan Amalfitano on a season long loan.

    More loan deals than full transfers atm. lol.

    Shows how bad Southamptons need was for cash that they sold the sell on clause for Bale a while back.

    Full marks to Levy for how he works in the market. The way he has handled Real Madrid is quite brilliant. The deal is worth upto £150m to Tottenham if all the Levy clauses come into play SSN have reported.

    ****ing hell, are they intent on signing players who can't score PL goals for toffee? They've got Fletcher, why the hell do they need yet another striker? Altidore's looking like a good buy...

    But don't forget, we've done all our business relatively early, where as both Palace and WBA have left it pretty late. We've brought in 8 players already, which is decent. We've also put in 3 really good PL performances and look like we'll compete. If we don't bring in anybody else I won't be disappointed, I think what we have can see us through to January.
