Boro might just be that midtable team who makes a late push into the playoffs.
I think that could be Wigan, they seem to have made a couple of decent additions.
True, Maynard is a very good player at Championship level and will score them goals.

Aston Villa have signed Chelsea full back Ryan Bertrand on loan until the end of the season.
It looks as though Jelavic's replacement at Everton is going to be Steven Fletcher. His odds have been slashed.
West Brom have had their odds slashed on signing Jordan Rhodes.
No chance. Not Wba anyway.
That would be a good signing for them. But if people are saying £6-7m for Long is overpaying, £10-12m for Rhodes is too!
Ji Dong-Won to join Dortmund in the summer.
What a replacement for Lewandoski
There are rumours going around that NY is looking at signing Ibrahimovic and Xavi.
It looks like Cabaye is going to leave Newcastle, PSG looking his most likely destination.
Don't know if this has been done but Mata to United??
Surely Jose, even if he doesn't like Mata (even though he is class), wouldn't sell him to another Premier League side?
Maybe not to a rival, but maybe to United.
He may use him as bait to get Rooney??
DJ Campbell Blackburn to Millwall (loan). Now what are the odds for him getting a yellow card five minutes into his debut?
Why else ? £35-40m plus first refusal on Rooney in the summer. It also helps Chelsea if Mata goes to Man Utd as they can take points off Chelsea's rivals for the PL title. Similar to what Lukaku is doing for Everton.
Looks like the lunchies in Blackburn are no longer good enough. Nice burger van outside Millwall's ground like.
Sorry if this has been brought up before but Lewis Holtby wants regular football to try and make the German squad he would be a great loan signing for us and would fill Hudds boots if he got injured as well as playing several positions
Mata to Man United for £30-40m is being reported on lots of sites today.

BREAKING: Chelsea and Manchester United have agreed a provisional £40m deal for Juan Mata. [Guardian]
Are we trying to get a top 6 midfield by taking a top 6's midfield?!?
