Newcastle have joined the race for Fulham (out of contract in the summer) striker Dimitar Berbatov in Jan. £2m has been quoted for the player. Sunderland manager Gus Poyet will bid for Brighton pair Will Buckley and Liam Bridcutt in Jan. £4m plus a player (rumoured to be Conor Wickham) could land both. Middlesboro look set to listen to offers (starting at £2m) for defender Rhys Williams. Swansea and Aston Villa are interested parties. Michu admits that he would leave leave Swansea next summer for a champions league team only. He is settled and happy @ Swansea for now especially with so man Spaniards around. Blackburn (£120m in debt) continue to struggle with the FFP rules. They will listen to offers for a number of players in Jan and look set to see defender Scott Dann be the first out of the club. Tony Pullis wants to take Dann to Palace in Jan. Bolton hope to confirm the permanant transfers of loans players Kevin MacNaughton(cardiff) and midfielder Neil Danns(Leicester) in Jan. Man Utd striker Will Keane wants a PL loan move in January.
Arsenal have many players missing or doubtful for tomorrow but i still expect the Gunners to win the game. They could give Cardiff a good Tan-ning.
From Skysports Transfer Centre; 14:23 Here's the full story on the news we brought you earlier today, with West Ham confirming that they will complete the signing of teenage Peterborough striker Jaanai Gordon when the transfer window opens tomorrow.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...amble-Lambert-bid-8m-Southampton-striker.html WHam are prepared to pay 8 million quid for a 31 year old!! FFS
Lambert for 18mths would be a cracking signing for 8m. Injury free you have arguably the best target man outside of Man C in the Premier League
That's one hell of a gamble if true. What were the odds? My favourite article of the week - Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi says he would have ‘committed suicide’ had he signed for Manchester United during the summer. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tted-suicide-Id-signed-Manchester-United.html Shows you a glimpse of what European players now think of the club.
I can't find odds on it, but I'm tempted to put a few quid on if there's somewhere offering them. Ex-WBA player approaching the end of his career released by Palace 3 days ago by mutual consent with Pulis saying he wouldn't stand in the way of him doing what he wants to do. Seems a bit odd he hasn't got a club yet if he had the plan in mind and had discussed it when he was released, but he wants a move back to the midlands for family reasons, his kid is in Wolves youth setup which could be why, but also who are Palace playing this weekend? (yeah it's WBA, which could explain it not being confirmed yet)
West Ham are close to signing Traore on loan. Monaco have signed him for £15m from Anzhi and are immediately loaning him out. Nothing like conforming to stereotypes, eh?
