They seem to want to acquire all the attacking midfielders and wingers they can for some reason.
They were probably still after Falcao until his ACL decided to stop working.
Apparently Diego Costa is favourite to go to Chelsea after Athletico said they will do everything to sign Courtois.
Another off-topic bit, but England are to be top seeds in Euro 2016 qualifying, meaning they'll avoid the major sides.
I'm sorry, but how can they do seeding for this before the World Cup? And how can it be different overall to the World Cup's European seeding?
The top seeds are: England, Germany, Spain, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Greece, Russia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
So what happened to Switzerland and Belgium, eh FIFA?
Essien has gone to AC Milan.
West Ham have allegedly just bid for Ross McCormack.
Wayne Rooney has been told he will not be allowed to leave to one of United's main rivals, which currently rules out Aston Villa and Hull.
lol. Fact is, he'd only be an impact sub for us anyhow
Considering the draw is next month (so that fixtures can be negotiated and arranged in time for autumn), deciding seedings 4.5 months after the draw is made would be somewhat problematic...
The draw should be after the World Cup as well...
They don't need to have the Autumn internationals - just get rid of the winter friendlies and start qualification in their place.
Do the draw the week following the World Cup. That would give them at least three months to sort out fixtures.
Surely it can't be that bloody hard for a dictatorship such as FIFA to get it done? Oh wait.
You mean Uefa, surely?
They need a lot more than three months. After a draw is made, the 'negotiating' (ie squabbling) between nations over fixture dates begins, and that can take ages.
"CONFIRMED: #mufc has reached agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Juan Mata for a club-record fee. #mufcmata"
Also, Leeds have rejected West Ham's bid.
West Ham offered Leeds money for Juan Mata? They really are in a mess...
