I think it'll be a five man midfield to try and break up Chelsea's play.

What better time to chuck Ferguson in, he's already played down at Chelsea and when I've seen him play he did really well.

He's had some experience why not build on it, what do we seriously have to play for top 10 finish and above the mackems!!!!!!

Both would be nice but I wouldn't be to gutted if neither happened considering the circumstances and we are safe.

We never seem to play that anymore since the Spurs away game, would be a good idea but I dont think we have 5 senior midfielders do we? Pardew has said he feels Richardson and Ferguson shouldnt be playing yet.

Due to injuries he doesn't really have a choice to not play them.

I could see Jonas on the right, Raylor, Smith and Barton in the centre and Ferguson out left.

Could still play 4-4-2, we have done against Man U and Liverpool recently of course. I would prefer a 4-5-1 and a chance for Ferguson though, just cant see us dropping Lover or Shola (no idea why we wouldnt).

    Midfield 4 of:

    Raylor Barton Smith Jonas

With Lover dropping back into a winger role when we (Shola) lose the ball.

Am I the only one a little worried that he may put Perch in centre mid to partner Joey?

What about Lua Lua on the right? Then we dont lose the Enrique/Jonas link up.

    ----------Raylor--------Smith
    Lua Lua---------Barton---------Jonas

    Maybe switch Barton and Raylor.

EDIT, or better yet, a 4-3-3 wingers style.

    -------------------Smith
    ----------Raylor---------Barton
    Lua Lua-------------------------Jonas
    -------------------Shola

  13. Why play Raylor?

Play Jonas on the right, and Fergie on the left.

Ferguson is far more promosing that Raylor and has deserved his playing time. Raylor has probably been told countless times that he can't ****ing tackle to save his life, but he keeps on doing it costs the team.

He could have been sent off in his last 2 games.

    Thank **** for that!

I think R Taylor is a pretty sure thing to start on the right.

Couldn't agree more with that 2nd bit.

Genuinely, what does it matter? If we finish below the mackems, so ****, we destroyed them in both games and our squad cost a fraction of thiers! If we don't get a top 10, so ****, we're in our first season back and it gives us more to aim for next season. If players leave stating that our league position was the deciding factor, so ****, they'll clearly be using it as an excuse (1/2 places don't matter in the long run - we won't have European football either way).

Of course I'd LIKE to finish as high as possible, but its not important, those 3 games next season could be make or break for us..It's not worth it!

I would prefer to see Fergie, but Pardew has said he doens't think he is ready. Try reading the previous comments ands you'd see this.

    Knowing Pardew:

    -------------Krul---------------
    Simp---Taylor---Campbell---Jose
    Barton---Colo---Tiote---Jonas
    --------Loverman---Shola------

    Should Be:

    -------------Krul---------------
    Simp---Taylor---Colo---Jose
    Jonas---Barton---Tiote---Fergie
    -------Loverman---Best------

Because Pardew doesnt feel Ferguson's ready. It's all well and good saying who we should play but be realistic, Raylor is more likely to play.

  19. Ferguson should get this chance now we're safe, and it's not as if our strongest team would even be capable of getting a result anyway.

Pardew has given Ferguson two full games, which he wouldn't have done if he didn't think Fergie was worth it.

Anyway, it's irrelevant as it's not going to effect the result.

We're going to get beat simple as.

I don't think Pardew will play Colo in DCM again after the display at Villa. Famous last words....
