    Still feeling the pain?

Had your day out back home and look at the table?

I would welcome Europa Qual. Trips abroad playing / seeing top players it is all part of supporting your team.

The Europa is a big competition.

Sunderland are really in the ****ter now. 3 defeats on th bounce, tough Hull game coming up, if they lose it'll be 4 on the trot and that "top 6" form table they kept rambling on about is well and truly gone.

    #relegationcandidates.

Trouble is, finishing second in the League Cup has no prize. No-one remembers the losers. Finishing 7th in the League has the potential of Europa League qualification and trips to the likes of Benfica, Juventus, Milan, Madrid, Bilbao. Finishing 18th....hm trips to Bournemouth, Blackpool and that pantheon English culture - Doncaster. I'd take 7th over losing in the final of a minor domestic cup competition.

I think some of them have said it so many times.. they actually believe that a recent form table supercedes the actual table.

I think we should spare a thought, and also a laugh, for Cardiff. Not neighbours, of course, but it's awesome to see Vincent Tan screwing it up so much. Still, I imagine it's all Malky Mackay's fault...

Kudos as well to Fulham's staggering ownership. Still beggars belief how NUFC ambition is questioned in the face of such hilarity. (sorry, please forget I opened that can of worms)

It could well help our chances of keeping Remy if we were to make it. Also don't forget the winner next season's of the Europa League will gain a place in the Champions League Qualification phase for the following season. Given we made the Quarter Finals last time round and were somewhat unlucky not to get through against Benfica. Why shouldn't we aim for it?

I think we just have to get as high as possible and let the rest take care of itself.

Anyway Mike is gonna invest heavily in a world class squad this summer.............................

True neither Newcastle or Sunderland will win the league title this season but we both will keep on borrowing players and trying

I think you are misreading the feelings Albert Sunderland have a manager that they have faith in for the future whereas Newcastle have Pardew who wouldn't know a footballer if one butted him in the head

SAFC had faith in Brewcie, Mon, PDC and now Poyet.
Hell, if Poyet get's fired and you employ Steve Cram the w**k socks would still get an airing in Fredor towers.
