I’ve been chatting to the club’s disability liaison officer about bringing my Grandson who is autistic, amongst other complications, to a game and so far the experience has been brilliant. Really knowledgeable and caring, and tbh they’ve already thought of everything I’d wondered about to make it easier on the day, and they’ve even arranged a stadium visit for us a couple of weeks before the game so it’s a bit more familiar on the day. Absolutely fantastic from the Club
She is fantastic as a DLO. My wife is disabled with auto immune disease and some clubs in the championship aren’t fully prepped to handle that (a lot are excellent I should say) but she really holds the clubs accountable if they fall short.
That’s great to hear she’s doing the job well. Doesn’t work many hours a week but seems completely committed Hope you and your wife have a great Christmas
Aquote from Noel. Asked what his secret to long living was, Noel said: “Don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t go out with women … just have a very boring life. No, I’ve had a great life, really enjoyed it. “I have no theory for living to be 100, it’s the luck of the draw. Take life as it comes and enjoy it while it’s here.”
