You really only see what you want to don't you? From wiki as I'm not intelligent enough to form my own opinion (apparently): Informal debate is a common occurrence, the quality and depth of a debate improves with knowledge and skill of its participants as debaters. The outcome of a debate may be decided by audience vote, by judges, or by some combination of the two. (Of course, this implies that facts are based on consensus, which is not factual.) If you are that keen on proving you are right and everyone else is wrong, go to the polls!
I am sorry that my posting of a viewpoint that you agreed with made you are ashamed of a view that you agreed with. I have read every post on this thread including the view that the race should be banned because Tilke designed the course. As far as money speaking louder than words then that was the case when Bahrain got the gig in 2005. No one signed petitions then. IF the riots would have taken place after the 2011 race then no one would have battered an eyelid. Same as when South Africa hosted the F1 GP. Although, some people did point out some abuses in Abu Dhabi. For the younger members, Abu Dhabi hosts a F1 race but their human rights abuses are OK. Apparently their capital punishment is acceptable from a F1 fan point of view. There are no two sides to the argument. The issue is that an individual can post prejudiced views about a section of the population and then demand that we sign up to some spammer website. Go Ahead. I have posted a link to the human rights website and anyone can check the credentials of any country hosting a F1 race. Does not make very good reading does it. Get off your high horses and get real with political situations that exist.
