Yeah, I suppose but not everyone is cut out to take 90 minutes of constant abuse. To be fair I would have probably "accidentally" booted the ball into the crowd quite hard and low <ok> Then given a nice grin.

If Bart had played I doubt if Guly would been getting so much stick from our detractors, while venting your spleen, how about also saying what was good today or is that beyond you, you miserable sods.

Depends what the abuse is? , if itis about a love one that died recently or a member of the family who is seriously ill etc. Then you can understand him getting too upset to play.
I just think he was subbed and got pissed at Adkins.

Harding gave away a soft corner which lead to the goal. He flapped like he always does and never looks comfortable with the ball.

If fit Fox was right to be pissed at being subbed he played well.

    Positives today:

    - We didn't lose.
    - We're top of the league for Christmas.
    - Lallana looked quite lively.
    - We didn't 'freeze' like last game at Fratton.
    - Most players looked like they cared.
    - ???

I thought Hammond and Cork played brilliantly together right at the beginning of season ?

Hooiveld was superb. Dealt with Kitson (who despite never looking like scoring, was quite a handful and is clearly used to holding the ball up) very well.

Christ, no way was that the reason for him coming. He was loving the abuse, he even chuckled at some of things said. Adkins always goes for the straight swap of Fox and Harding, I think he sees Harding as a better defender and Fox is more attacking so he decided to shore up the defensive duties, even though Harding put the ball out for the corner from which we conceded from and maybe could have dealt with it better. Well thats my view on it anyway. I wouldn't start slating a player for something we don't know, if Fox was angry to be subbed thats great to see because it shows passion and Adkins would understand that.

    Fair one Beef <ok>

SL, probably did jump to conclusions, I just said IF that was the case, I'd be very disappointed, which is a fair comment to make I think.

i)Yellow card fest didn't materialise, which would have been pretty costly at this time of year.
ii)Barts back on the bench & looking happy. Phew.
iii)Applemort is not half as annoying as Cotterill, so the point shared isn't quite as painful.

I'd have thought everyone would. Under pressure and that, but that's fine, it means you don't try to turn on it. No excuse for not sliding it out sideways for a throw.
