Feck Lens hes a kunt. A good goal against a shyte team. Shame he never done anything like that against Prem players to justify his 13m fee and ridiculous wages.

Lens is a great player with a suspect attitude, if we can get him to knuckle down and play six months, all out, to raise his profile then give him his transfer, it would be a win win, and a major coup for Grayson, dour Dave had his chance to do this last season but blew it big time imo. The bling attitude is rife to-day, among young footballers and even though it grates, it is something we just have to live with, to single them out for abuse is only counter-productive. After all these lads come mainly from poor working class backgrounds and are just harmlessly showing off.

He's hardly an unknown blip on the radar, besides, excelling in the Championship won't raise his profile imo. Pretty sure it will be universally agreed he's way above Championship standard. At best folk will just expect him to excel, At worst, his attitude effects his performance and his value plummets. Just sell the lump of poison now I say while we'll get the biggest fee. No risk of his attitude bringing spirits down.

I think it's win win with Kone Khazri and Lens.

If they go we get a bit coin and Grayson brings his own players in.

If they stay, the three of them are far too good for the fizzy pop ****e and will tear it a new arse hole and we might just bounce straight back.

    Mannone
    Jones Kone Djilobodji Galloway
    Cattermole Ndong
    Mcgeady Khazri Lens
    Vaughan

That team wins the league imo!

More chance with them than Vaughan and McGeady....either way, we won't be winning anything.

Kone and Lens didn't want to play for us in the Premier League. They've got about as much chance of staying as us winning the league. <laugh>

All about opinion.....My view, Kone and Lens with all their combined shyte attitude would give us a better chance than the journeymen we are about to sign. These signings tells me exactly the ambitions of our chairman...leave me totally uninspired.

I think there's a good chance that at least one of the three will stay. I think the most likely (and my preference) would be Khazri. Any one of them that stays will have to knuckle down, even if they don't wholly buy into Grayson's ethos, in order to play. That would only be to our overall benefit as they are talented players. Its also not an absolute certainty that they won't click with Grayson.

You call them journy men but they're players Grayson knows well. He's promised players who'll play for the shirt. We've done the ego dickheads and failed miserably. I want a club to be proud of the club again. Not a squad full of ****ers who don't want to be here.

You think Lens and Kone would be more effective than these lads being forced to stay on low wage? I don't, they'll go on strike a million times over before they'd give what was required. They couldn't give us their full efforts on a full wage in the top flight. Force them to stay and play in a lower league on the fraction of the wages isn't exactly going to reform their character and make them produce their best football.

Some pipe dream you lads have going there. I'll have what you and Parker are smoking. The real world seems dull in comparison. <laugh>:p

Their seems not to be much interest from Premiership clubs for any of them so far and that is where the money is, good performances for us even in the Championship could change that, and come the January transfer window who knows. We need to think positively and dispel the negativity of the last regime, its a tough ask, but it has to be done.

Well Lens wants to move aboard and has options and thanks to the relegation clause he'll be afordable and WBA and Burnley are both after Kone. So don't see the fuss, they'll both find clubs imo.

So be it, but it is more evidence of our poor performances relating to the transfer market, the chances of both leaving for WBA and Burnley undervalued is sickening, and hard to take. :(

WBA and Burnley are only after Kone. Fenerbahce have an offer in for Lens. Think he'll be off as soon as cover is in.

Well that's ok then.......The club is saved and we go from strength to strength with Bury's finest and a player who managed a loan spell at PNE to spearhead our forward line..... And you accuse me of smoking weird stuff. priceless.

I'm realistic fella, the debt hasn't just vanished you know. I accept our limitations. Nobody we sign is going to sweep us off our feet. We need lots of players with limited resources. squad players we sign aren't all going to be big signings.

If that means I'm smoking weird stuff fair do, but I call it balanced and grounded.

I've a growing faith Khazri will be here and that doesn't half boost me.

Him, N'Dong, Watmore, Catts. Gibson should be steady as well. That's ****ing decent.

I thought he might head back to France but he looks bang up for it.

McGeady solid enough as well. I wonder if we might play Watmore up too he used to score ****loads in the youths etc

I don't know about that mate, he may well be looking for a move by trying to impress anyone watching.

My assumption was based on him not being on a particularly onerous contract, one that we can afford for a year in the Championship. That's why it never occurred to me he would go.

Never seen his contract though <laugh> I might be wrong about that!
