    It's actually 1 League Title, 5 FA cups and 1 Leagu Cup more in the same period ... and 2 of the FA cups go back to 1901 and 1921 ...

    Spurs obviously edged it in that period but no idea whether Spurs had any financial advantage ... which seems to be Comms point ...

    For completeness, Arsenal had won 12 League titles, 9 FA cups, 2 League Cups and 2 European trophies during the same period .. Arsenal definitely held financial advantages and were known as 'The Bank of England's club ..

    So 1930 nickname, and used for Sunderland and Everton as well, and all before the war.

    If you read the article our cash reserve was used up paying for the repairs to Highbury as it was damaged when used during the war.

    Anyway how ****ing old are you Fosse ffs this is 2019 not 1929
