Well thanks for clearing that one up. The thought police will come knocking on your door one night if you continue to blaspheme about Taarabt. BTW I noticed later on that Ellers had apologised. My fault for shooting as soon as I saw an opportunity to strike a blow for free speech. The way the board has rallied behind the party line "no worries... loads of money" reminds me of the bit in Animal farm where the sheep (if memory serves me correctly) suddenly change their chant from "4 legs good 2 legs bad" to "4 legs good 2 legs better" because that's what their leaders tell them.
What QPR spend is their business...but...football is a scary place at the moment. Spurs are slated as having no ambition cos we refuse to spend £20-£25m on a striker. Liverpool's Henderson is no showing his worth cos he's had a dozen or so good games...he cost them approx £20m 18 months ago. West Ham have a striker on loan cos the club that bought him 2 years ago for £35m no longer fancy him. Theo walcott gets £100,000 per week Chelsea have a £50m striker who has had maybe 7 or 8 good games and 5 or 6 excellent games in 2 years Aston Villa ain't playing a £23m striker Chamakh gets £65,000 per week The list is endless...and regardless of what anyone says Pompey will not be the last club to have a major financial meltdown...look at some of the huge wages some QPR players are on...they will prove to be a nightmare to get rid of...and that could well end up being a major issue
