I'm afraid we have a few people on this forum who love to criticise everything about this site.
Lan, it's not an issue but it's their right, they can always put their names forward to be a mod, if the site votes for them they are in and can change things to their liking, I am happy to step down if the members require it..
Bollocks, I aint stepping down for them, They'll have us promoting clothes and every thread has to be about cider
What is going on,we seem to have four or five posters out to cause havoc on here recently.
This is a good forum for genuine fans.
Why not go back to what ever site they prefer and stay there.

I'd rather listen to Redprint than some of the posters on here, we all enjoy a good laugh sometimes, and the moderators contribute to the humor all the time, if some people fail to see that humor then why not start your own forum for your holier than thou selves.
You won't be missed by the guys on here who do enjoy a good harmless crack at one another whilst discussing the club we love. We don't always agree with one anothers opinions, but we are generally civil towards one another when not calling each other twats and bellends for jovial banter purposes to lighten the debate when overheating.
A lot of stuff on here I read as tongue in cheek, if I didn't and took it all to heart, I'd wanna get Jack Johnson and Tom O'Leary (Anchorman gag) out and say meet me by the KFC for a bit of a rumble.
We can all get on our high horse, and we all need bringing down again. If most of us were sat in a pub, I'd imagine face to face, we would get on.

Chances are, we probably do without knowing it- I park at the Bedminster Cricket club and call in for a pint before the game-
The mods appear to have some unwritten rules.
Its is ok for the mods to state they have no respect [and they have] for fellow fans, it is ok for the mods to start threads that are a direct attack [and they have] on other City websites. When challenged posters are threatened with bans, told they are boring, threads are locked, or mysteriously disappear.
The paradox is the mods choose to use the imagery of the fans and sites they have cast aspersions against.
Conversely, the offer has been made for anyone that has problems with our forum that if they wish to put their selves up for consideration to be a mod, do so and the members will decide whether to vote them in or not, anyone wishing to do so let me know and I'm more than happy to be judged by my fellow members to continue or step down..
I have worked hard for nearly 3 years to maintain fairness and balance on this forum, I have never experienced the sniping, nastiness and arguments that a few individuals are introducing, the only benefits I get out of forum service is the fun and taking part and the sharing of time with fellow, like minded Bristol City fans.
So if anyone wants to change the culture and ways of our forum, put your selves forward, stop the arguing or simply piss off...The offer is there...

Personally I am sick and tired of 2 or 3 posters attitudes.
Therefore if you want to take over and dont like what is being said here, then as Wiz says, put yourself up for election, shut up, or piss off elsewhere.
This has to stop one way or another.
I really dont get all this and have held back from commenting until now. I come on here to chat about city, share our joys and frustrations and have a bit of a laugh and some banter. Big up to the mods for giving up their time to moderate this site. Of course there are differing views and opinions, how boring if we all thought the same. Some people must see things I dont because I havent seen anything the mods have said that would p!ss me off so much I would have a pop. If I did I would simply not bother commenting or coming on here. Please can we move on and chat about city. We got our first win in the league on saturday for heavens sake.

I am a moderator on a large-scale Web Developer forum, so I've got experience of opinionated posts under the guise of being a moderator.
Frankly, I don't see why it's taken two pages of passive-aggressive posts to clear the air. I doubt anyone really thinks that there is some kind of agenda by the mods against the manager. That being said, the moderators need to stop being so defensive when it comes to criticism. The entire point of a forum is to discuss Bristol City, and whether you like it or not, your criticism of the club is as much up for discussion as the results themselves.
I get it enough on other forums, and it's often a thankless task, but that's what happens when you get the word "Moderator" under your user name. It's the price you pay for being a representative of the City fans on this forum, I'm afraid.
I've taken my fair share of shots at Angelicnumber16 and Shinycitylad7 for being negative. That's to be expected on a forum when you make a statement that others won't agree with. At times, they've responded to that shot. That's how forums work. Your posts are in no way related to how good a moderator you are, and considering the lack of spam on this forum, the moderators do a bloody good job.

Nobody has ever been threatened to be banned mate. Clearly you don't understand a joke, as for meeting someone on here who I feel was fairly aggressive towards me and only out for an argument, why should I meet them? I don't care about them or what they have to say. All you've contributed to this forum is nasty little snipes and to be fair ive had enough of it, so now I just give them back to you and your little mates. So why don't you do something constructive and actually make a comment about Bristol City on the Bristol City forum and stop banging on about **** that nobody gives a **** about. Everyone but 3 people are against you and are getting fed up with your comments. I won't have Wiz having to feel he needs to have a vote for him to stay as a MOD. He has done more on the site than you have and is very well respected and I for one would never step down as mod and hand it over to your little gang as you have to be the most negative posters we've ever had and do nothing to contribute to this forum..

. Yes I can be negative but I would say 95% of the time im a very positive person on this site, like you say when you get the moderator tag you become a target. I'm not sure why we are though as we are only a moderator to help the supermods out, Our only job is to keep the site clean of racism, aggressive behaviour and spam, we're not here to spread cheer etc, just to keep our site ticking, which by being the 12th busiest team on this site, we're doing an alright jobWhy do you keep coming on this site if you don't like what's said or how it's run??

Come on everyone and remember why we all use and contribute to this site. Because we are Bristol City supporters.
So we have one constant in common with every one on here (except of course visitors from other clubs).
But under this umbrella, we will never agree with everything that is posted; in fact we will violently disagree sometimes. But that is why we want to post our points of view and to read and digest what the others believe.
That is how we are persuaded on occasions to modify our views, something that we are all doing all of the time. Nothing is ever carved in stone.
But whatever our opinions and however much we disagree with others, we are still all fervent supporters of the greatest football club on earth - Bristol City FC and will always have that bond to keep us together.

You and other mods have been disrespectful to other fans. A mod also described a fans project that included BS3 children's football teams as crap before deleting his thread.
I have never called anybody in my life a complete and utter bore, or told somebody/individuals I have never met I had NO respect for them. Mods on this site have. Those people were City fans.
Being asked to meet in person to discuss your discourtesy is quite normal. I have no doubt the person who also asked to meet you in person via PM was in no way aggressive. You are now making things up.
