Austerity is and always was just a means for Cameron and Osborne to build on the start Thatcher made at crippling and then selling off our public services and undermining the NHS, education system and welfare state. Nothing to do with the EU or even the global crash. This is evidenced by the still growing national debt despite years of spending cuts.

Shouldn't need to explain that to you.

    Still making!
But it isn't related to or as a result of running down a public service (national, regional or local).

Typical brexiteer trying to play the man not the ball!

I'll concede on this, because you're partly right, but then, these two toff lying bastards were telling you and the other deluded remainiacs to vote stay because its better for Britain, well, it may be better for them but it definitely isn't better for the ordinary people of the UK, are they only bullshitters when it suits your argument?
the UK wouldn't have a national debt if they weren't paying billions to the corrupt EU and Gideon Osbournes incompetence

Until you can demonstrate how we can trade with other countries to the level we do with the eu you can't win the argument. And you can't do that by citing fecking pinprick countries on the other side of the world.

Firstly, seeing as the UK hardly make anything anymore thanks to the Tories destruction of the manufacturing industry, the EU needs the UK more than the UK needs the EU, and so buys more than we sell, its as simple as that, its a big wide world out there and they are queueing up to do business with Britain,
Germany aren't gonna stop selling BMW's to the UK just because Merkel as got a strop on
secondly, there will be no European Union in 5 years time, so none of your bollocks will matter<ok>

What they going to do,we import much more from the EU than we Export,if they want a trade war by putting tariffs on and we do the same we would make billions extra and they would lose billions.Do you really think Europeans are that stupid ?.Ireland export 75% of all there exports to or through the UK,to put tarrifs on would be suicide for the country.

An hour ago one of your comrades in this stupidity was saying that the eu was damaging the working class.

Exactly who do you think trade tariffs affect the most?
For ****s sake at least think through arguments you are putting forward rather than just randomly quoting the daily fail.

But hard to be the main financial centre of Europe when we have told them to **** off. That's 41% of the economy you are potentially kissing goodbye to. We have moved on from selling pegs and lucky heather.

Trade tariffs can work both ways, if they're gonna be stupid, tell them to go **** themselves, if they want to cut their noses, so be it

You're forgetting the EU enforced austerity for **** knows how many years Norman, the Greeks will be suffering for decades to come and the tell, tell sign for me was just how much the EU tried to stop Greece from leaving as they knew that them leaving would be the beginning of the end for the EU, perfect irony that they kept them basket cases in but not us!! <laugh>
