Oh, I know whats going on. The 2020 bit of my name was chosen for a footballing reason, but its also the time the brighter Leave voters may start to realise what a **** up they've made of things. Not you, obviously If I were you I'd start putting together a list of people to blame for when it all starts to go tits up. Here's a few suggestions to get you going: Those dastardly Europeans, for indulging their anti-British prejudices and refusing to do a reasonable deal - aka why we don't get our cake and eat it Those useless (and dastardly) British managers, for being too fond of the golf course and failing to seize the opportunity to trade with the only country we manage to do a trade deal with, Upper Chad. Refer to Liam Fox for more details, he's the expert (if you Brexiteers will forgive me for using that expression). Our dastardly civil service, for deliberately resisting the march of democracy and history, and continually giving our politicians inconvenient facts to deal with like 'it won't work' and 'no-one will agree to that' all experts for predicting all sorts of doom and gloom and then having the impertinence to say they were right when it happens after Brexit is implemented judges for applying the rule of law and not the rule of Breximania the rest of the world for not embracing Britains "Free Trade" philosophy and being bloody difficult to get agreements with ................... you get the idea, over to you.
You have forgotten he can also blame the largest group that took part in the referendum. The 48% that didn't want any sort of Brexit. He can then blame the 20% or so that wanted a cake and eat it soft Brexit.
Yep, its going to be your fault Glory If you and your ilk had been positive about this glorious opportunity, it would have all worked out
I can already hear the rag bag army of immigrants and idiots and economically illiterate saying it! The daily mail going after the judges is treason. We have a constitution for a reason and it has primacy over everything else. Isn't that what Brexit was supposed to be about (although we know its all about little racists scared of healthy migration really don't we). Theresa May telling the House of Lords to force through article 50 or face being scrapped is tantamount to blackmail... Expect a few principled souls to say NO!!!! What a shambles... the more the brexiteers say lets rush into this hard, xenophobic and ill thought out Brexit more I am convinced they don't want the facts to come out on how bad its going to be... If its all good news what are they scared of?
The best one is the well named Nutt-All and his 'lets do article 50 immediately and just come out completely' line That'll work
Scrapping the House of Lords would be a good thing and not before time Half of them are senile and half of them don't turn up, the ones that do turn up usually fall asleep Totally irrelevant antiquated system
Is he the scouse clown that pretended he had a history degree from a uni that didn't exist and pretended he played footie for Tranmere.... Now running UKIP. As a proven liar he is well qualified.
its a system that holds the legislature to account and has worked well on the whole for 400 years. Certainly better than an elected second chamber as they have in America,. You do need a second chamber to provide checks and balances. Where I would agree is there should be no hereditary peerages and an upper age limit of 70-75!
Stopped responding... as if... The leader they all follow hasn't told them what to think yet that's all!
There's only so much bitter we can take, and at the end of the day,no matter how much hot air you guys spout,we won.
Ah the latest myth, Austria will elect an ultra right wing president (except they didn't), the Italian president will be forced to resign (except a caretaker will take over and its a longshot the Italexit nutters will ever get their referendum, let alone win it) and Frexit is round the corner (except Marine le fountain pen will be up against a right winger expected to wipe the floor with her, Merkel will lose to AfD (except she won't)........ ...................and, as I've asked before, why this fascination with the EU falling apart? Its almost like the People Who Have Spoken don't feel confident in their decision for Brexit
The euro is in trouble and rightly so. It was never going to work, how can third world economies like irelands ever work on the same basis as first world ones like germany, france or Afghanistans. That doesnt mean the whole eu is in trouble....
Can't win them all but Italy will go to the polls early and elect an anti EU government, most probably Five star movement as they're the 2nd biggest political force in Italy and not only will they hold an EU referendum, they'll also hold one to leave the euro. Holland are over 80% against the EU so that'll be a given when they hold their referendum on EU membership, the whole corrupt, bent regime is starting to fall apart and bring it on.
