Definitely call it off. No one has performed for the whole season well enough. Certainly not Bosingwa imo though - yes he has played well in the last 5-10 games but how can a player who refused to be on the bench win POTY? Madness. (Before anyone has a go at me, he has played very well recently for sure, and is no doubt a good player - but he doesnt give a damn about the club).
Mbias 46 barrell rolls at OT were pretty special Maybe SWP's goal at the bridge is good enough to clinch it?
Our POTY is quite pure and simple: 1. Andros Townsend 2. Loic Remy 3. Stephane Mbia (a very tough decision and one that most will disagree with I expect)
No way Dave. Good player? Never doubted it. But he still sprints straight off the pitch after every game and that's much quicker than the speed he travels at when he's getting back into position. The fact that he came from Chelsea has nothing to do with it for me..............he doesn't give a **** about the club. Don't want him next season.
How about an at least they tried and gave 100% award even if there not very good but it's not their fault. Award?
OK slightly serious here I would give it to MBia...yes I know you are all saying that is for his supreme "rolling a round injured" antics...some of those performances have been world class! Yes I know he gave away the free kick against Wigan (but that was manufactured free kick by Maloney..I blame MBia for naivety for that nothing more), Yes I remember what he said about Rangers (Glasgow). MBia cares, he wants to give his best each match, he is ungainly but a power house, giving his shirt to the crowd. He carries on after the others have given up. I know the same applies to Hill too, but MBia has not been as bad as Hill has become in the last few matches. OK I will leave now
Yes. He has been consistent over the season - not consistently great but good. Also the assist for Remy's goal against Wigan.
Strongly agree. This relegation needs good management. The relationship between the players and fans needs to repaired. Some sort of corporate apology from them would be a good start. It would not hurt to hear personally from TF at the Newcastle game via the PA which hopefully now works since Flavio tried a few years back. Assurances need to be backed up with tangible action and very soon. If they can engineer what looks like a promising season next year then some of the wavering ST holders may choose to stay. In fact, the more I think about it, an announcement about the new stadium at the last home game would be the ideal boost for both players and fans.
Sod me. Are you Bosingwa's Dad or what? He epitomises everything that has been wrong with the club for the last two seasons. Uncommitted, casual and careless.
