    he got kicked out for taking part in an armed robbery with his gang and used to nick training kits and **** from the club.

    i wouldnt be surprised if another "alex" came through as early as this season. someone like sam hoskins <ok>

    I think the problem with blooding the youngsters too young is that their heads are easier to be turned as they still hold a pretty high level of naivity. If you look at the likes of Walcott, Bale and Chamberlain you'll see that they all made their debuts for us at the age of 16. None of them stayed long enough for us to see them reach their 18th birthday. I don't feel that's a coincidence in all honesty... Lallana made his debut for us when he was 18, 5 years later he's still here and I think near enough every single one of us rate him above Walcott and Chamberlain. Once in the late teens a lad should be valuing his responsibilities more, it depends on the individual of course but I'm of the opinion that we should make youth team players wait a little longer before being granted the pleasure of pulling on a first team shirt. That way the opportunity becomes more of a deserved and precious experience, rather than it just being the start of a fast track lane for some stupid 16 year old to gain a transfer to a team of 'Top 6' status before realising that he made the wrong move and lives to regret it.
