It really is up to the board whether they simply want to keep the money or bring the club once more into the winners' circle.

I like the idea of Eden Hazard joining us but if he would be a vital part of our team, then so is he for Lille. Hence it may be unrealistic that they would be prepared to release him which is why they've upped his price to presumably ward us or anyone off. However, had we gone in for him early in the transfer window, who knows what might have happened? Lost opportunities.
