I cant understand anyone wanting the managers job unless they are allowed to run the team and all transfers but for Ehab to pick the targets I wont respect anyone who takes the job under those circumstances. What a spoilt rich T*** he is, .
I said exactly the same yesterdayGiven that there’s a strong likelihood that there is no potential buyer of Hull City in the short term, perhaps the owners, in a seemingly crazy volte face, will appoint a reasonably high profile manager and financially back him to unprecedented levels.
Why? Well, this would spite Steve Bruce, inversely spite the fans (who are largely of the Allam-Out voice) and would, to the outside world, suggest that they had a plan all the long. It also would revive the flat-lining Allamists and would further divide the fans.
As we know, the owners are facile creatures. Saving face and appearing to be ‘right’ is paramount for them.
If this does seem outlandish – I agree it probably is bollocks, but remember, we have seen this before, on a smaller scale, post Barmby.

I was just agreeing it had crossed my mind yesterday. They'd put a positive spin on it and say they wanted a manager to take us to the next level and will back him. On the face of it they look great owners and the rest of the nation thinks hull city fans have lost the plotApologies – not had the time to read all of the threads.
Where did Phelan say he wanted the job and Ehab will choose our targets?
Hee haw,hee haw he alway says that!!!!
Is there a link?

Phelan is the sensible choice as caretaker. The new owners will want there own man, so the Allams aren't in a position to make a permanent appointment.
I'm sure that the Allams have heard of reverse psychology so they will see through everyone saying they would hate Steve Evans to be manager. I would like to say how much I rate Steve Evans, Martinez on the other hand would really upset most of the remaining City fans.I don't like it when odds shorten like this - it makes it seem like some one knows something. Betfair have Steve Evans at 5/2.
Please tell me that's a joke.
Can't we have a whip round and buy him Football Manager (or whatever the **** it's called), then he can pretend he knows what he's doing safely the **** away from our club?

I hope your wrongWhen did I suggest him - was it Wednesday? I really hope I'm wrong.
