I can see the Allams saying: We thought Steve had taken us as far as he could and were reluctant to give him money to spend. They'll make out they've done it for the good of the club and put a positive spin on it then just to go against what everyone expects appoint a decent manager and give him a decent budget (hopefully)
We won't be spending money on a new manager! MW is on a good thing there, he's not going to leave that for a relegation battle.
Everyone has to start somewhere & as I said he'd be a better option than Evans & he'd use the kids if they're good enough.
Giggs is Brucey's mate, can't see him taking it. "Yeah hi Steve, just wondered what it was like working for the Allam's?? Oh right..."!! No chance. Mido???
Are they mates? I never knew until recently that Keane and Schmeichel hated each other. I found that really interesting.
Probably not but it would be a great appointment and a bit more out the box than the **** being suggested
Lots of players who you thought must get on didn't. Shearingam and Cole never spoke away from the pitch despite being successful on it. Someone my lad played football with spent time at Man Utd in his teens. He said, like a couple of others I know who spent time there, that the most friendly and helpful were Beckham, Scholes and Giggs. The most unhelpful and stand offish was Schmeichel. Which is surprising as he was a goalie.
