It wouldn't be a tradgedy if we were in the Championship again next season, and to be honest the Premiership is certainly not the Promised Land. But next season can look out for itself. In the meantime, wouldn't it be great to win the Championship? And to do that, we need to strengthen.
Nigel and the players are now talking about winning the title, whereas they were being more circumspect earlier in the season, so nothing wrong with their positivity. A couple more players to liven the squad up and we should be able to make that final push.
I think its good that they are talking that way, as they have earned the right to by getting where they are now. If we make astute signings and get key players back (and the form that we know we are capable of) then why not. We have played everyone now, and its wide open. In terms of quality, and of course I,m gonna be biased, Saints have played the best football in this league.

People moan about the PL, but we were there for 27 years and didn't want to leave it. I loved the bit at the beginning of every match where the commentator at The Dell and SMS announced the match as a Premier League/Premiership game.
