Fryatt will get 15 this season, Mclean will get 10-12.

We need more goals from other midfielders than Koren. I'm sure if you were going to dip your hands in your pocket for a 3m striker though then the club would be grateful.

Sharp has only scored 2 more than Fryatt this season anyway. Not much more "established" than Fryatt in my view.

I worry about R.B only - if Rosie gets injured. Probably the reason McShane is only a short term loan. If it is extended longer then we'll still have the loan window or young Danny East.

In that case I am very happy that Dr Barmby is our manager rather than you.

smoke screen or good man management? what kind of message does it give the team if they are constantly looking over their shoulders for incoming replacements? thanks for your efforts but you aren't quite good enough lads. on the other hand instilling some belief in them by showing confidence could be just what they need and they will respond accordingly. I have always thought that consistency is an undervalued commodity these days. much easier to try to by a ready made solution than invest the effort in improving what you have.

It's what you call keeping players on their toes, and getting them to put in maximum effort. Any player that thinks he will be picked week in week out, over time will become complacent. I call it good management, however I am an advocate of keeping a settled team, but it doesn't do any harm to have competition for places.
