Klopp is going to be playing Benteke mostly from the bench. I cannot see Sturridge and Benteke playing together.

I disagree with those who think Benteke doesn't fit, he'll do well and get plenty of goals for us. 2 Attacking Midfielders supporting him and linking with him will work fine, his movement is good and he can finish I really don't see the issue. When fit I'd play...........

But nobody just walks in you have to play your way in and despite all that the options we now have in attack mean that we can rotate and play what suits the opposition. I agree that we didn't need the physical presence and a battle against center backs with the big lumps at city the mobility and pace suited the game. At times though a big presence will be needed against a more mobile defence Man Utd for example Benteke would do well against what are smaller defenders and we would benefit from him playing and feeding off him.

 

Will pay back the minus points for the extra one......trust me

 

You would be willing to drop Sturridge deeper to accommodate Benteke?

 

He works well off that right hand side always has, it's not like we play with a winger he's going to be attacking the box as we do now.

It's about getting all of our attacking threats on the pitch, as I mentioned earlier there will be times where any of them could be dropped depending on the opposition.

We could go 4-3-3.

My main point is that I rate Benteke and I don't think dropping him and playing Studge is the best option, we have enough players to rotate and adjust to whatever's in front of us and the first formation is imo putting our strongest players on the pitch which means dropping a much improved Lallana but there's also room for him as there are plenty of games to be played.

I think both Benteke & Studge play better in a front pairing. I think both lack certain attributes to be a lone striper

(thought the striper typo was funny so didn't bother changing it)

 

Probably so but I never over use my sub allocation

 

Not hailing from Brighton I'm not an expert; however, I would suspect Studge would be the better stripper. He likes to dance and he's not butt-ugly like Benteke.

Back on topic, as most seem to think Lallana will be dropped for either Sturridge or Benteke, should LFC be.........
