Seems a bit strange to me, especially since they knew Williamson wasn't going to make it and the situation with Enrique being as it is...

Obviously, they couldnt have known about Ferguson but i would have thought a tournament like this would be really beneficial for Kadar. Considering he can play on the left and in the centre.

Means theres only really Tavernier that theyve taking out there for back up in defence. Gosling at a push too at RB.

Ryan Taylor can also play full back. There must be someone who can also play centre back I assume as I can't see us travelling half way across the world to play three games with only two centre backs.... actually, scratch that, I can see us doing that.

Tiote has cloned himself for just such desperate occasions and will be found playing DMF, CB, and LB (the latter two positions off the bench, don't want to give away the secret weapon too early)

It makes me wonder who exactly has gone to the USA, there surely can't be more than 20?

Has Kadar definitely not gone? He's fit again played 3 games for Hungary and 45 mins for the reserves.

If he hasnt gone who's next choice? Dummett?

His Visa was denied because he spat some chewing gum out when he was 11.

Yeah, I thought Kadar had those games for Hungary and was fit again. Also assumed he was closer to the first team than Tavernier.

It's just the journalists that have also fins on trip reporting that he's not there and tav's the only one they have for cover. He can play all across defence but still dont see him as a centre back and obviously Raylor isn't either. So there seems to be no cover for Saylor/Colo. Hope they don't wear them out...

It was an issue with funding apparently, could only afford 18 return tickets, the rest went on the estate agent fees - somewhere in the region of 3-4 mill i think - ****ing thomas cook.

When I am come back to Newcastle then I will long think at my contract but for now it is nice to be warm. It is like being back to Spain! I am getting used to Barcelona weather again. jajaja

Joke. I am considered other clubs also and Newcastle. =)

I don't think Jonas enjoyed that too much, I thought he had an awful World Cup.

Hmmm but Tavs isn't really a CB by trade. Also Gosling and Raylor are options at RB.

Could drop Tiote in right back and play Simpson in the middle? Where's Perch?
