    now we're talking!!

early doors is absolutely magnificent yet whenever i mention it to people they've never heard of the thing!! the royle family was good but early doors was perfect <ok>

    my personal favourites are:
    early doors
    peep show
    the thick of it
    father ted
    phoenix nights

too many others to mention but those are the top five! inbetweeners narrowly misses out on the top five <ok>

the thick of it truly is brilliant. some of the lines are incredible, especially tucker, but from what i hear there are a few MPs who claim it is a little too realistic, which is worrying! <ok>

i think some people are initially put off by the swearing (i know my old man was) but once you know the characters you understand why the language is like it is. armando iannuci's finest work in my opinion - and he's plenty to choose from!

nice one for the Bottom post Hoppers, watched it when I got home from work yesterday, that show really is a laugh a minute. One of my all time faves along with Shooting Stars and The Fast Show.
You know, jumpers for goal posts

There are some gems mentioned but I'm astounded that nobody has mentioned Brass, an excellent parody of life in the North!

First series of Fresh Meat was the best TV for years but the second was a massive let down.

Glad no-one has mentioned Buzzcocks. It was great in the Britpop era with Mark Lamarr but I can't believe people still tune in!

Someone borrowed my copy of Jam and lost it.

I sent him to Julia Davis' acupuncture clinic and he was gone by the morning.

Not a fan of fresh meat although I do find it somewhat compelling I find myself watching it mainly because of nostalgia looking back at my days as a student!!

I still enjoy Buzzcocks and am actually glad Lamar left, just didn't like his sense of humour, it consisted of him saying everyone was cr*p!!

Supers, I presume you've seen In The Loop?

Basically TTOI goes to the US of A.

    James Gandolfini is brilliant.

love Buzzcocks. Can be bizarre and sometimes the mrs wonders what Im laughing at as tears roll down my face. The one last series with Prof Green as guest team captain was just brilliant, even though he did replace Noel who I do rate.

Supers, watched it in the 90's early 00's. missed it for a few years and now back into it again. I love music aswell so its bizarre sense of humour and the music aspect ties in brilliantly for me.

    Cigar advertising on the TV?!

You're showing your age now Warky!

I did like the wig in the photobooth though.

Oh, and The Day Today -

    "in 1989 no-one died"
"oi! I'm trying to run a high class bureau de change"
    And who could forget
    "boof! Eat my goal!"
