Not really because the FA / England team dont really have the same hold / relationship with Suarez that they have with JT. JT is thier "pin up boy" and if he gets convicted, it reflect directly on the FA, English football and the England Team. We all know they are a bunch of bottle jobs and c**Ts at the FA, but this is an issue they cannot brush under the carpet like everything else. Every newpaper in the country will be at the court and they will have to be seen to be doing something, by an international audience. Suare got caught and banned - case closed. No English/ European fan really cares. JT is / was the leader of one of the most influencial countries in world football (even though we're crap). He plays in the most widely televised league(you'll notice i didnt say best?) and Chelscum are tring to increase international fanbase. In short..EVERYBODY around the world will be watching and waiting for this case. I feel (and hope) they may have to have a sacrificial lamb..and who better than a racist, cheating wife shagging. son of a drug dealer and thief, than JT.
