I usually reserve the term deplorable for the Oystons - but my god, she is so smarmy it's unbelievable. She has really thrown me off her with that. Condescending, arrogant, defensive.. it really wasn't good. The way she pushes the microphone back when celebrating (?) the fact she apparently interviewed 3 managers with Championship experience was classless. Never trust someone who looks away when addressing you. Katrien, you did that at vital times. Your body language was one of someone who had no conviction in their answers.
A couple of real gems from Meire; On Tony Watt - "he didn't move here for peanuts"....err...no....he already played for Liege Plus "We are all here tonight because we love this Club" Wasn't it Groucho Marx who said if you can fake sincerity you have got it made? You are only here for the money, love.
I think she made Watt feel uncomfortable several times. Jacko's reaction to Polish Pete and Loic Nego getting a shout out was priceless. And it was a bit awkward seeing RM struggle to pronounce Igor Vetokele.
Yeah - that was an odd choice. Don't want to lay in to him too much as I'm sure it was nothing like what he's used to (well, I hope so anyway).
I saw no point in Luzon attending the meeting. He is not the decision-maker on the issues that fans are mainly concerned about. And his English is too poor to understand what is being said, or to comment accurately, especially if things got a bit heated. He is paid to coach the team, not get involved in club politics. If KM said the club did not lie, or at best utterly misrepresent, the question of the "exhaustive" search for a replacement manager, then that invalidates anything else she might say to my thinking.
Am an avid reader of this forum because I enjoy some of the posters on here and recognise some of the faces from the old 606- but rarely do I contribute- I really dislike Katrien, her arrogance and how she tries to come across as jokey and 'one of us' is beyond belief- When she says 'Tony Watt Watt' is also pretty embarrassing IMO The fella with the mic got on my nerves too, glad I'm not the only one
I think the man with the Mic was Mick Everett. I have reached the stage with Meire that I don't trust what she is saying. She seems as slippery as a bag of snot. I think condescending arrogant and defensive says it all. I got through most of that video and I couldn't take any more. I was feeling bilious and I had to get some fresh air. Also seeing Murrays supercilious face also added to my feeling of bilious ness.
