It just sounded like your run of the mill Canary Call lunatic, pretending to have contacts at the club, they're exactly like the people in the summer who use phrases such as according my sources we'll sign such and such etc. Some people just love to sound important or feel like their part of something, I'm sure McVeigh and Butler shot them out the water as I'd imagine they'll likely know a hell of a lot more what happens behind the scenes, then some random bloke who 'apparently' knows the Physio or Sports Psychologist or whoever it was.
