So Dyer's missed header at point blank range was no threat aye?? Don't be a plonker all your life Dai! At least some of us watched the game!.........
look at the stats ..ZERO Shots on target and just 4 off target shots all game to their 24 shots and 16 on target. are you sure yo saw the game???..you couldn't have if you saw a shot on target..
Dai, in Phil's post above this one, he didn't say that Dyer's chance was on target. It may help you to take the time to read other people's posts before replying
Im not sure he actually reads anything on here sometimes, there doesnt seem to be much form of debate with him lately, its all about "i know best " and of story . Each to their own but i dont really see the point in being on here if your right all the time! i mean whats the point in taking part in debate if you already know your right ?? Its just really weird .. FACT!
I have to agree lads, he doesn't read very well, or at least seems to be incapable of digesting the gist of what others are stating, I'm beginning to think his lift doesn't go to the top floor!.................. PS: On a footy note, thought Laudrups game plan was the right one given the current circumstances, and it was only undone by a freak mistake by Ben Davies, my only criticism of the tactic was that maybe it was a little too negative, or Sousa style, but then maybe it seems that way to me, due to the fact that we seemed to lack any pace today going forward, I might even go as far as to say we looked tired in the midfield area, and both our wingers were off their best. But what a game Ashley Williams had! great to see him back to his best, and finally one other issue that needs addressing is our midfield, very sloppy today, even Leon was passing to Spurs?? I'm going to put it down to tired legs. Forgot Ki is really starting to annoy me! he's looking lighter in the tackle than Orlandi, and that's saying something, way off the finished article..................
Well as far as Dyers miss goes, it summed up his recent form for me, im a bit worried about Nathen, he doesnt seem to be responding well to competition, seems he has been quite unsettled since the arrival of pablo, he has had a nice run of games to play his way back to form but it hasnt happened yet,the way we are playing nowadays isnt focusing on his strengths either so its a hard road for Nathen lately, i also worry about him leaving the swans if he aint happy.
Wouldn't like to lose Dyer, there would be plenty of teams that would love to snap him up! He'll come good, he always does.....................
Yes i beleive he will come good too, but he dont look the happiest right now and he may be thinking its time to move on, when you consider the money Liverpool are talking bout for signing tom ince who is unproven you can see how he would be appealing to alot of teams. Anyway enough of him leaving, i like to think he has a big part to play down here !
so he did not say dyer had a chance then.. Where ????we were stuffed good and proper today and that was not good...accept the fact...
I console myself with this thought, a supporter for 54 years, lets think about that, lets say for arguments sake he was at least 10 years of age when he became ' aware of the SWANS ' that would make him a minimum of 64 years old, mind as with other things he could be lying , but my guess is he is aged between 60 -70 , therefore not long to go... please log in to view this image , how you feeling pal ? Don't forget to wrap up worm when, if, you ever come to the Liberty ........
Yes Dai - Dyer had a chance - a glancing header that he should have connected properly with - Routledge also had one earlier. DeGuzman also had a chance and Michu tried an audacious shot and then bravely went for a 50-50 that knocked him out! We were not 'stuffed good and proper' but admit that our attack was as bad as our defence was good! We lost 1-0 at White Hart Lane against a Spurs team of top 4 quality so give the team you say you support a little credit please. 1-0 against one of the best teams in the EPL is not a stuffing, they had to work hard to break us down and most of their '16 shots on target' were pretty tame! It wasn't our best performance but we gave them a game and I, for one, will continue to get behind them and would appreciate it if you wouldn't be so condescending whenever we lose! We are punching above our weight and doing it with style and guts so please give us some credit for that!
Can't argue with anything there Norway. I was screaming at the tv for Dyer to run at his man but not once did he do it. Looks very low on confidence and should have put his head through that ball in our only chance. Ki annoys the t!ts off me with his lazy passing and was surprised De Guzman came off instead of Ki. Ash was back to his best though and Spurs deserved to win. They've got some big old boys in that midfield. Did anyone think Lloris was marginally out of the area when he took the ball and Michu?
Hi Norway I agree with all thats been said Ki was slow dyer was not himself bad passing Routledge was also poor, bad luck with the goal I think if Pablo had played also Rangel we could have won the game spurs were not that good. Hope they are fit for the Man utd game as you say moore or D G up front would be the way to go with the mistro in behind them, we all know with rooney and co, we will get a pasting unless we play as we know we can
