No Charge for McManaman

Say what you like about Whelan, McManaman and the rest of the team but I've got to admit I was impressed by the friendliness of the Box Office Staff, the Club Bar staff, and the Stewards at Wigan.

They all bent over backwards to be of what help they could and some of the Stewards had a bit of a hard time for no reason at all before the game started by one or two of our guys that had a drop too much. (Hope one of them wasn't you JI).

 

Not guilty AB, I wasn't at the game. I was applying the finishing touches to my latest masterpiece, re-shaping a skirting board and repairing a wall that had been water damaged.....

I had the radio on and was only relying on updates to find out what was happening at the match, wasn't particularly chuffed when the final report came in and discovered the events of the afternoon.

 

Wasn't too chuffed myself about the game, was a long quiet trip home. Everybody had a touch of the blues.

not been on for a while so i apolagise in advance as i,m sure you have covered this subject, but i have to say that foul on your player by that wigan thug was a complete disgrace and the fa have not charged him! astonishing it was a career ending tackle and in my eyes he should of got a red and a lengthy ban.
