You must have some sort of personal vendetta against Ferrie! The man can do no right in your eyes! He's continuing his recovery and getting more minutes under his belt every time he plays! Of course he is not going to be firing on all cylinders!! You really do some to be lacking any real footballing knowledge if you expect him to be running the show in games like that!

No, Dai, it won't be next time or the time after or the time after. Ferrie will take a long time to get back; he knows it, Buck knows it and he has said that he will give him all the time he needs. Now, Ferrie might or might not make it but your posts on this subject give me an overwhelming sense of malevolence on your part. You've gone out so far on a limb with your views on Bodde that I get the impression that you want the guy to fail just so you can crow that you were right. I'm not saying that this is the case because I can't be sure but you will know...... Getting on the guy's back, Dai, because he hasn't starred in two part games after being out for such a long time is so unrealistic it beggars belief. Buck and the club obviously believe that there is a chance otherwise they wouldn't be wasting their time. They also recognise his huge talent for the same reason. The odds are against Ferrie and we all know that but he must be given every chance to make it. If he fails, so be it. Everyone will have done their best to make it work. But if he succeeds, and others with similar injuries have done just that, we will have a fabulous footballer on our hands. It's worth the gamble and, imo, everyone on our Board should be getting behind him and wishing him well until we finally know one way or the other.
no Scott, have you seen him play in the last 3 years? I have seen numerous Aussie Rules players comeback after this common injury in 9 mths/year and be as good as they were, 3 years is taking the piss
didnt read the last few posts, he lasted an hour and good on him (did he make a tackle), imagine any prem side v bodde, what are they gonna target and he aint gonna go in hard, i know i did mine from a hard one on one ball tackle, wrong position and you never know when it will happen again, so once a hard tackler i became a bit of a wimp lol becos it fkin hurt
i might be taking the piss but come on what do you really expect from ferrie now? He wont ever be the bit part player he was who could walk through defences like he could especially 4 years later and two leagues higher from when he played regular.(and thats debatable) first team football. it ain't going to happen lads we have moved on with better fitter younger players, the chances he will ever take the place of the players we have now and future players are zero. his time has gone and will never return where he was good (abet lower league) you are expecting too much from him and being unrealistic. I hope he can play football again but not for us, he is past his sell by date now and that is the reality of the situation.....
