Iceland, too. I watched their progress in particular with envious eyes. Just goes to show what could be achieved if our FA got their act together. Same with your FA who just seem to like to make a complete **** of it. What other sports have you had success in recently? I musta missed it.
England are good at football. However, nations with smaller populations are much, much , better - despite the EFA spunking millions on the England team. England are very good at Rugby. However, NZ, Australia and SA are much better... Snooker is not a sport but English players are great at it - mainly because it's a pub based game. Boxing - English people do well at Boxing. There is no mistaking these facts. But based on the population of England, they should be a hell of a lot better.
