And your talking the possibilities of a top 8 finish and giving the top 6 a hard time. Your probably talking close to 60 million for that lot as well as some bug wages but with 45 million from Bent and Hendo and the fact were no longer paying wages for the loans from last season I would say go for it.

I don't see why one needs to be a loan, we've brought in £44million from 2 player sales, and it's not as if we were penniless.

We got Sess for £6million, if he keeps up the form he had last 6 games he's worth easily double that, Ellis the businessman will see that spending on the right players is an investment rather than a folly.

That'd do me mate, then we just need a RB and Roger Johnson, and we're really looking strong.

Get Hutton & Ned + like you say R.Johnson. f*ck me av got a semi on thinkin about the team next season.

Get crouch, the lads got some moves..

How far is Campbell from fitness? Is it a full year? I now have faith that a seasoned striker will come in. If we get Whickham and one of Welbeck or Sturridge say, my idea would be a good old 'un for a season with the offer of a coaching contract afterwards.

Dunno who tho! Drogba is still relatively young enough to go on for 2-3 seasons, his price and wages prohibitive.

Owen might have been worth a punt, but he has re-signed for manure. Fowler? Van Nistleroy?
