That one´s now gone
Bolton awaits,
We weren´t on song
For our north-eastern date,
They were fired up
Not surprisingly,
After their cup
Game, ´twas easy to see,
But it´s no bad thing
To have proven there,
That when things don´t swing
There´s plenty to fear,
And it had to come
Sometime, I would say,
That our recent run
Would end in this way,
Now all that counts
When Bolton appear,
Is that we just bounce
Straight back into gear,
No doubt there´ll be some
Most notably, blue,
Predicting a run
Of winless games, too,
I´d not be so sure
PL´s proved before,
He can find a cure
Especially when sore. OTBC

Well said RBF! I think some of us, me included, have become a little complacent in recent times, so it's good to be brought back to Earth with a bump!

I blame PL and the team, they have been doing so well that some of us took our eye off the main objective this season, ie survival, and have started to expect more! We have been silly boys, I won't include Yellows or Gorleston Girl, I know they are far too sensible to fall into this trap ;)

It´s been very hard not to be complacent dave, but we do have to remember that even for the most optimistic of optimistic supporters, we´ve vastly exceeded expectations so far this year. That´s not saying that we haven´t deserved to take the points that we have, but I can´t imagine anyone in their right minds who would have expected to see us where we are right now in the table, at the start of Feb.

But that aside, I´ve got every faith that PL and the lads will soon put yesterday behind them. <ok>
