Talking to some Cardiff fans in work, they ain't too bothered by it as they will now be wearing their national colours, plus they keep their club in running, without Tans money they face being another Portsmouth. So they say better to be red than Blue playing in the welsh leagues.
I think we are looking at it as if we were asked to play in blue, which is traditionally the colour of our local team that shares the same city. We would be in outrage, as would the gas if it happened to them.
But as said they will be playing in their national colours, national emblem on their badge when they are the capital of the country. I bet if they were asked to play in the same colours as Swansea we would of seen a totally different response, or if they traditionally played in Red to go Blue.
100 million is a lot of money, (biggest piss off for me is their owner ain't much richer than ours) shows that he wants to take them to the promised land, and also when there can market them loads over in Malaysia which should include more money from merchandise.

Take away the football tribal stance, we dont like our new kit but we are still going to buy it to support our club think future of the club 100 million play in white, 3 lions in our badge, could see their club in sound footing.
    What would you really do?

(Would like to point out, the question is what they asked me, I was just reiterating the question, so don't shoot the messenger. The only comments that was totally mine was about th chairman's finances, this was not a dig at SL, I think he has done loads for this club. Also the new tops I chucked in as an example)

None of my family will buy the latest kit. It is not "ours". Take away traditionalism and it ceases to be a proper football club v a plastic one.

What would you really do? Walk away and get watch a Bristol saturday side instead with a City connection instead.

The "Dragons" owner did not have to "re-brand" his "product" to place the club on a sound financial footing. I would leave his plaything to him as he obviously is capable of anything and not fit to run what should be part of the community, rather than an extension of his ego.
