It was reported in the VOTV in December that Southall was so short of funds he couldn’t pay a £10,000 legal bill. Some people have misunderstood his role and seem to think he can fill the financial void left by Nimer.
If he's taking legal action against his excellency he's found some money from somewhere since December. Our accounts need to be very closely scrutinised.

However we have received something positive, it’s not much but it’s something and Richard Cawley got hold of Matt Southall and here is how the Charlton chairman responded. Apparently there is “no threat whatsoever to staff wages or even your jobs. The club is solvent and will continue to be run in exactly the same as it has been since January. It’s business as usual.” Southall will also be at Charlton today to talk to any fans with concerns over the clubs future something that Matt had promised and is so far delivering on it. “I will be at the club if anyone wants to speak in person while the senior management team can try to answer any of your questions.” Make of this what you will, but I see this as a positive sign although we are yet to find out if he can deliver on this, I know we will be fine we may just have to stick together again like back in the old days.
Heller works for the Sheikh and Nimer - he won't be part of this for very long - probably gone already. You probably already know this, but every January Championship clubs get a solidarity payment from the PL pot - this season it was £4.5M. I'd be very worried about what that is being used for - most clubs use it to cover cost throughout the Summer!!

So Southall wants Nimer out and Nimer wants Southall out. My money's on Nimer. Elfs was right all along- never trust a football agent. Get him ahrt quick before he squanders whatever capital is left.
Remember the MPs expenses scandal ? Moats....pond houses ....second homes etc Southall will be remembered only for squandering cash on Range Rovers.
